It was the second event of the "Connecting Civil Societies" series and a side event to the ASEM6 Summit, featuring plenary sessions and two workshops. Assigned workshop rapporteurs reported the outcomes on the workshop discussions at a concluding plenary open to ASEM officials and participants of the ASEF Editors' Roundtable, which also took place in September 2006.
