The primary aim of the Asia-Europe Conference on Sharing Cultural Heritage was to bring together museum professionals from Asia and Europe to encourage cooperation in all areas of activity regarding Asia's cultural heritage. This post conference publication includes reports on discussions held and papers presented on describing cultural heritage, exchange of techniques for preservation and conservation, holistic heritage conservation, documentation and databases, holding joint exhibitions and methods of exhibiting. The Asia-Europe Conference on Sharing Cultural Heritage was held in Leiden, from 10th to 13th April 2002.
