Overseeing ASEF is a Board of Governors who is responsible for reviewing the organisations strategy and policies while ensuring that ASEMs principles and priorities are strictly adhered to. Also under their purview are ASEFs finances and budgeting as well as approvals for all projects and programmes. The Board is appointed by the respective ASEM partners and meets thrice in two years.
