The 24th Asia-Europe Lecture Tour series was delivered by Fraser Cameron, a former European Commission advisor and well-known policy analyst, author, and commentator on EU affairs.
Dr Cameron outlined the EU’s collective approach towards Asia and analysed major aspects of the EU’s policy, including security, trade, development, human rights, democracy, and the environment. He also raised internal issues within both regions that affected the EU’s policy formulation towards Asia, as well as highlighted the EU’s awareness of how it is perceived in Asia.
