This year's conference gathered 60 scholars and experts from universities and research centres to discuss key issues on peace and conflict studies through a series of lectures and panel discussions. Participants examined concepts of conflict resolution and peace using country-specific case studies, and were asked to give their perceptions on "recipes for peace" in both Asia and Europe, and what both regions could learn from each other.
