In April, the ASEF unveiled a new website (esia.asef.org) as part of its ESiA platform.
At its launch, the website featured essential information for students, faculty, and researchers of European studies. Sections included:
- What's New On the Shelves (new books and articles)
- Who's Who and Who's Where Doing What (visiting academics in East Asia)
- Calendar (noteworthy events)
At the time, the website also hosted the first extensive directory of European Studies in ASEM member countries, as well as the newly launched ESiA e-Monitor, an email newsletter that highlighted the latest articles and events news from the website.
