The Asia-Europe Workshop for Young Photographers, hosted in Singapore, took place from 2nd-5th June, 2002. Four masters of photography - Keiichi Tahara (Japan), Horst Wackerbarth (Germany) Marie-Laure de Decker (France), Tay Kay Chin (Singapore) conducted workshops on Art Photography, Fashion Photography, Photography and Documentary, and Photojournalism, and shared their experiences with a group of young photographers.
Public talks were also organised in collaboration with the Singapore Art Museum and the professional help of the European House of Photography-City of Paris, AlIiance Française of Singapore and the Goethe Institut, Singapore.
