"The Diary Of Alice" is a project which resulted from the artists’ interactions during their Pointe to Point residency in 2009. It was selected as one of the follow-up projects to be given financial support by the ASEF.
The project questions the notion of identity in a global context through the life story of an imagined character, Alice. The artists began work by writing Alice's life story on a blog: http://www.alicelisbon.blogspot.com. With the ASEF’s support, artists Joavien Ng (Singapore) and Paloma Calle (Spain) were able to take part in two residencies at Rimbun Dahan, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and at forum Dança in Lisbon (Portugal) to further develop their collaboration.
