OVERVIEW

The Europe soft launch of the culture360 portal was held as an event under the Spring Plenary Meeting by the International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts (IETM). The launch featured a panel discussion held with IETM and Bunker, the local organiser in Slovenia of the Plenary Meeting. The discussion's theme was "Think Freely On The Contemporary," and participants questioned recent and innovative approaches to the performing arts. They also examined how these approaches were regarded in the international context, and explored ways in which new technologies and virtual platforms (e.g. web sites, blogs) could contribute to the contemporary performing arts.
