The ASEMUS curatorial meeting was held from 4th-6th March, 2005 in Centro Científico e Cultural de Macau in Lisbon as part of the Travelling Exhibition "Self and Other: Portraits from Asia and Europe" preparatory meetings. Selected as ASEMUS 8 pilot projects, the curatorial team of the Travelling Exhibition has been working together virtually since September 2003, outlining the theme, categories and subject for the aforementioned exhibition. This event provided the latest venue for the curators of participating museums in this project to meet and discuss further the structure, development and implementation of the project.
