The Asia-Europe Workshop on Internet Broadcasting took place from 14th-18th January, 2002 in Hanoi, Vietnam. This workshop, the 8th of the series co-organised with Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD), was supported by Vietnam Television (International Relations Department).

This workshop gathered 15 Vietnamese senior and mid-career programmer executives in Broadcasting and was moderated by Mr Marius Frankowski (from ZDF, second German TV Channel), involved in solutions for TH and the Internet.

This workshop allowed the participants to have a better approach to internet broadcasting, on identifying various hardware and software required to set up an Internet Broadcasting and on programming Internet Broadcast.
