AEH Advisory Committee
Overview
Estalished in 2006, the AEH Advisory Committee occupies a central place in the Hub’s structure. It plays the dual role as an observatory and guiding body for the ASEM Education Hub.
Our Work
As an observatory, the Advisory Comittee monitors and reflects on the trends and developments in the higher education sector in Asia and Europe as well as existing co-operation between the two regions to:
-
ensure an appropriate flow of information among stakeholders;
-
identify relevant areas for enhanced Asia-Europe co-operation; and
-
propose new initiatives.
As a guiding body, the Comittee provides strategic recommendations for the further development of the AEH, as well as possible means to enhance effectiveness of existing projects.
The Committee meets annually to evaluate and review the initiatives undertaken by the Hub together with its partners.
Our People
The Advisory Committee consists of:
- Representatives of relevant higher education organisations and networks in Asia and Europe.
- Academics and practitioners that have a proven interest and solid experience in bilateral higher education co-operation.
- The leaders of the different thematic networks supported by the AEH.
