Asia-Europe Forum For Young Photographers
Overview
Set up in 2002, the Asia-Europe Forum For Young Photographers raises and articulates issues to encourage cultural dialogue in the field of photography. The programme gathers up to 25 young photographers (final year students or young professionals) to attend presentations by experienced photographers, photography editors, and managers, as well as participate in discussions and workshops.
Our Goals
- Develop professional networks of young photographers.
- Discuss the professional commonalties and differences present in the field.
- Examine the aspects of creation, communication, and promotion of photography.
- Develop an enhanced understanding of photography in order to achieve excellence and adopt new aesthetic approaches.
- Launch new formats of online and offline collaborations.
- Exchange photography best practices.
- Exchange information on photography in Asia and Europe.
