ASEM Youth Dialogues
Overview
Launched in 2002, the annual ASEM Youth Dialogues is a programme for youths in ASEM member countries to exchange perspectives on priority themes in the ASEM agenda. Its focus is on encouraging youths to participate in the ASEM process and provide solutions to identified common challenges.
Our Goals
- Create and foster youth networks by encouraging a common vision.
- Develop action-oriented initiatives to help youths contribute to the ASEM process over the medium- to long-term.
These objectives are included in the "ASEM Youth Declaration," which is adopted by by the participants at the conclusion of each dialogue and conveyed to the ASEM partners as the youth contribution to the ASEM process.
