Short Films Contest

Filmmakers, creatives and film enthusiasts are invited to submit short films expressing their views on how Asia and Europe are connected.

The winner will receive the SGD 5,000 and will share with the other 4 awarded the unique opportunity to take part in a 2-day filmmaking workshop in a world-renowned art school in Singapore.

Apps and unleashing creativity in the classroom

Over 100 secondary and high school educators and students across Asia and Europe came together in Dundalk, Ireland for the 10th Asia-Europe Classroom Network (AEC-NET) Conference from 7-11 November 2011.

Public Health in the spotlight

21 young volunteers from 14 ASEM countries participated at the 10th Asia-Europe Young Volunteers Exchange programme: Health on Stage. They worked closely with the local communities in South India to promote public health dialogue through forum theatre.

The Asia-Europe Meeting

The Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) brings together representatives of 46 Countries from Asia and Europe, the ASEAN Secretariat and the European Commission. ASEM addresses political, economic and cultural issues. ASEF aims to engage society in similar discussions, building bridges between the ASEM governments and the community.
